I've always been interested in brewing beer and almost got into the hobby probably 10 years ago, but life happened, and I never got around to it. A couple months ago a buddy gave me some homebrew that he got in trade for some work he did and it rekindled my interest. I'm getting ready to try my hand at all this starting with a NB Sierra Madre Extract kit (with specialty grains) -- Probably be brewing this sometime in the next few weeks hopefully. I've been lurking around here for a few weeks or so trying to educate myself and I feel like I've picked up a lot, although I realize that until I get my first batch done .. I haven't really learned anything. Eventually, I hope to know enough/feel confident enough to start making my own recipes. Anyways, thanks for having me, and happy brewing.
