Morning all, I've posted a few topics in the begginers forum, but forgot to introduce myself. Matt from Dumfries. I just started due to my inlaws doing this for awhile and they were nice enough to buy me a complete starter kit for Christmas and it's been going gang busters since then.

So far I'm on my 3rd beer, the first one is in bottles and it's been a lot of fun. What I'm surprised about though is how into this my wife is. When we started she was almost kind of against it, due to the huge mess I made in the kitchen, but something must have clicked. She's so into now and it's become a great thing her and I can do together. It's nice, she's a bottling pro!

I've found 3 stores in the area that sell stuff, but was really surprised when I found a feed and grain store in Fredricksburg that had a huge homebrew supply selection.

Hope I can keep learning, this community is amazing and very helpful.

My wife is a huge help. She stays away from me when I brew and really doesn't bother me when I buy more toys for the brewery. I am very smart though because I do not brew in her kitchen. I brew under the deck and the basement is my man cave/brewery :)

Welcome! That's great your wife is into it. Does she like the same beer as you? My wife loves that all grain costs less than store bought beer. She was sold when she saw that lol...
Welcome

Yep Roxbury Farms. They were really helpful and had a good supply.

Thanks guys, I've learned a ton already and this is becoming a right fun time for both of us.
