Howdy from Austin

Hi all, I live in Austin, Texas and have been homebrewing for about 8 years. I'm glad that there are resources such as this and look forward to adding my 2 cents.

I am in Austin also. Have you been to any of the Austin Zealots meetings or other parties, pub crawls, etc? Great bunch of people.

Hi Jerry and Tx, I haven't been to a Zealots meeting but I do go to every Brewers festival that has come and gone in Austin. I've entered a few brews into the Zealots Inquisition but have not placed yet. I blame it on my lack of bottling skills...I have been kegging since my 4th brew(way back when) and never needed to bottle much.
I just got the Blichmann bottle filler for xmas so I should be better off now.
