I am originally from Texas and just got stationed out in Pasadena, California with the Marine Corps. I have been in for 9 years and love what I do. So I started home brewing recently to better enjoy what I do when I m off duty. I brewed a couple of batches with my brother before I moved and I can't wait to taste my first brew. It's called "Wit Men can't Jump" and it's a Belgian wheat beer knock off of Blue Moon. I can't wait until i get started on my next. I think i'm hooked already and I haven't even started.

Welcome to the obsession. Are you extract/PG/AG brewing? You'll find plenty of info here. Good Luck - Dwain

well i guess i am starting out as an extract or partial grain brewer. i am beginning, so what ever is easy seems to sound good. there aren't a whole lot of places to buy grains where i live so i have to do all of my ordering online.
