I transported a kegerator on its right side, left side in the picture. Since the compressor is on the top is there any issue with just standing it up and letting it set for 24 hours?
If oil is in the tubing how does standing it up for 24 hours work since it is not draining down to the compressor?

I have ask these questions in another post but I just want to make sure I don't kill my new toy.

I think your smart to wait for an answer from someone that knows. It may well be different from a bottom mounted unit. You might try calling a couple of commercial refer places.

I finally plugged it in and it started making the sound of water running down a drain, not sure if that is bad. It cooled down and the compressor didn't feel like it was over heating.
