So i got a kwg carbonated my beer and was using it to serve beer. Now that i dont want to serve i turned off the gas with the co2 still connected and it still has some pressure in the keg as the tap still dispenses beer. It is stored in my fridge is there any other steps i need to take to make sure it stays carbonated and keeps well?

Turn the gas on- otherwise it will go flat if you are serving from it. If you're not serving from it, turn the gas on to make sure the pressure is equalized to the carbonation level, then you can turn the gas off if there is no leaking or if your' not serving from it.

Mine is at 12 psi at 39 degrees. It's a pretty decent carb level for most beers.
Ok so I'm not serving from it. I havent served from it since today when it still had some pressure. So should i hit it with 30 psi then disconnect the gas?

I can't fit my 20 lb Co2 tank in my fridge, so I just hook it up to the gas at 12 PSI now and then when it seems the carbonation is going down, but I have 5 kegs on tap and don't drink any one keg all that much so my experience is maybe different. If you pour a lot of beers keeping the gas hooked up is good idea.
Experiment with what you have, you'll find a way that works for you, but depending how much beer is in the keg and the level of carbonation, putting 30 PSI in there could over carbonate your beer.
