I know, someone pointed that out a couple days ago. Takes 8-10 days for a shipment from the states to get to me, so maybe with my next order I'll get one, but couldn't wait to brew :D

They have one here (hardware store), and I managed to get copper tubing, a saw and a spigot for my MLT. But, none of the employees speak english and I don't know German well enough to find a "adapter for a garden hose that fits on the end of your faucet"

I spent over an hour trying to find the right stuff to build my MLT.

I say, Bravo. Field measures were employed and the job got done.

Alot of people would have given up and posted later that they pitched yeast into 180°F wort or weren't able to pitch for 18 hours.
Is my beer dead?

Good job.

'schuldigung, bitte. . . Ich moechte einen Gartenschlauchadapter für meiner Kueche zu kaufen.. .

I think that would work. . .I had to look up garden hose. :mug:

Thanks, I'll try... I know I won't pronounce it right. That seems to be the worst part. I've looked up things before, to ask questions and either my vocabulary or my pronunciation was way off, because the folks looked extremely confused.

I can ask directions, where's the bathroom, I can order food, shop and read the road signs, but that's about it..... wish I could conversate better.

Copy, print, & bring to the guy at the store. Put the german equivalent for "show me" in front of the phrase above.

Good call! :mug: I'll try it in the morning... would really save me some pain, I'm outta twisty-ties.
