How to follow a member

I'm trying to figure out how to follow. Since my profile says I have no followers, I assume that means there is a way to follow someone. Can anyone tell me how?

When I click user name, it takes me to this and I don't see the follow button.

Ooof. Can't help there. I don't use mobile.

If you tap the three dots at top right, there should be an option for "Request desktop site" and then what I said before will work.
