Ive been brewing a standard Pale Ale recipe in 23L plastic fermentors and want to scale up to use 300L fermentors. How would I go about converting the recipe to this?

Thanks,
Rob

Straight multiplication. Multiply everything by 13.04. You won't get exact results, so you'll find yourself tweaking recipes after a couple brews on the new system. The main thing is you'll have figure out what kind of efficiency you are getting.

Some of the recipe calculators, such as Brewsmith, may take volume into account in their formulas.

ok great thanks. Calculator comes out pretty close to the 13.04 multiple mention by Hercher. I think I will run a test 300L batch see how it comes out.
