How much puree for in a 5 gallon batch? and when to add?

Looking to add some fruit flavor for an experimental beer here, should I add to the boil or to the primary? and how much?

I recently made a Guava-Weizen. I puréed 8 Guavas with some vodka and added it 3 days after fermentation started. It came out awesome.

I had the exact same question so I have the information below saved for my own upcoming fruit experiment. In short, I'm going to add puree to the primary AFTER the fermention is mostly done (~1 week) to capture more flavor and minimise any second mini-fermentation.
