Thought I'd treat myself for my B-Day, couldn't find an exact answer through sticky and searches thus I'm asking for help.
I'm fairly certain the answer to how much gas line do I need is, however much it takes to do the job as it won't effect service/foaming either way. Correct?
Being cash strapped as I am, I'm only setting up one keg for now, will add a splitter etc. later.
What I have: 20lb tank & 2 used corney kegs.
What I'm ordering (if I'm right):
1-Dual guage regulator (for one keg)
1-Disconnect set view here:http://stores.kegconnection.com/Detail.bok?no=45
6 ft Red 5/16" ID Gas Hose
? ft 3/16" ID Clear Beer Hose
1-Picnic Tap
1-Keg Gasket replacement set.
Is this all I need and how much beer line do I need to order, I'm guessing 8 feet to give me a little wiggle room. At 3/16" ID I shouldn't need but 5 ft, correct? Guess I could just ask for a link to a site explaining/offering formulas/charts.
Thanks for helping this ignoramus out & Schlante,
Phillip
Ps do I need food grade silicone lubricant or anything of the sort?
