How much lactose is too much?

I'm trying to make an Odell brewery Chocolate milk stout clone. I tried it on draft and it was amazing. Long story short Id like it sweet, but not under or overly sweet. More like an awesome chocolate milk... Is 2 lbs instead of 1 lb way too much lactose?

Using English pale malt 85% 10% crystal 10, chocolate malt, oats, and cocoa powder.

Hops are Fugles at 40 IBUs.

Corn sugar for primer.
