Hey all. I am new to the home brew and am enjoying it so far. It's fun and brings friends closer.
Just wondering is there a limit of how much beer you could make legally?

100 gallons of beer per person over the age of 21 per year and up to a maximum of 200 gallons per household annually when there are two or more adults over the age of 21 residing in the household. Taken from wikipedia.

As much as I can drink or give away! No limits up here in the great white north! I just can't engage in anything commercial.

Just be sure to keep your contributions to the "How many gallons of beer in 20xx" thread to under 200g. Enjoy the hobby.

Depends on how detailed a brewing log you keep.

In the event of a legal situation enforcement officials can only go with what is "available" (kegged, bottled, in fermenters, etc...) UNLESS they obtain a detailed production log that can PROVE an exceess was made for the year before it had been consumed.

Keep in mind that is the US federal limit. Some states are more restrictive. There are a couple of states where the limit is 100 gallons per household, and of course in some states homebrewing is still illegal.
