Happy to say I roasted last week for the first time in over a year due to a move that took forever to finalize and most of my life stowed away in storage. It was part of a sampler pack that I got when I bought my roaster. I've had the beans for over 4 years and thought what the hell I'll fire up the roaster and I have to say that the beans still a made pretty good cup of coffee.

3 lbs total

339.15 + 2 = 341.15

6 150gm batches
Wet Hulled Bangli Kintamani Bali
Lo Mejor de Timana Colombia
Helsar Miguel Rojas Costa Rica

How you liking the Bullet Lax??

Love love LOVE it. I roasted ~9 lbs yesterday in 2 hours, which would have taken me an entire day on the old Gene Cafe. And the results are SO consistent, even for a full Kg. So happy.

Still trying to figure out proper profile/technique, I'll probably bump my purchase thread to solicit tips from you guys, rather than muddying up this thread.

Earlier this week I combined the leftover Ethiopian beans from different lots to make a full pound and roasted it. I did the same with various beans from Central America too. So two pounds there.
Now I’m roasting a pound of Ethiopian Yirga Cheffe Konga Station (Sweet Maria’s GCX-6317). So three pounds this week.

Update:
Just roasted a pound of beans from Mexico. So four (4) pounds total, not three (3).

449.07 + 4 = 453.07

I roasted one pound of very affordable Burman's coffee ($3.99/lb, Colombian Supremo Antioquia | Burman Coffee). I just poured some into the hopper, so within the next few days I should know whether I can taste the difference. Not 100% sure what I'm hoping for...
448.07 +1 = 449.07.
I now also roasted a pound of the other $3.99/lb coffee I got from Burman's, a Brazilian Mogiana 17/18. I roasted both the Colombian and the Brazilian a bit towards the darker side, but not black. A few beans have oil on the surface. (My DeLonghi Magnifica doesn't like too much oil on the beans.) To my surprise both are very drinkable, not only for breakfast (americano with sugar and milk), but also as (short) espresso. So maybe I don't need to spend more than $4 per pound?

I should roast the other supposedly better (?; or maybe just more expensive) coffees I got before coming to a final verdict.

453.07 + 1 = 454.07.
