Made 5 gallons following the recipe pretty closely, except with a home-juiced blend of apples (some sweeter, some more tart). It was delicious and refreshing, if a tiny bit too tart.
Starting round two this weekend. This time with only one kind of apple--a sweet English variety whose name I'm forgetting at the moment, and a 50/50 mix of honey malt and 160+ malt with a brown sugary taste. Also we'll use Wyeast cider yeast this time rather than Safale or Nottingham.
