How long to sanitize by boiling?

I have a few sanitization questions in regards to boiling times. I'm trying to minimize some of them.

How long do I need to boil my priming solution?

How long do I need to have my immersion chiller in my boiling wort to be sanitized?

I've heard anywhere from 1-5 minutes on the priming solution. I have always used 5.

I don't have an IC, but I've heard it typical to put it in for the last 15 minutes. I'm sure someone else can be more specific.

I do about a minute for each. I would be interested to hear a reason why it would take any longer than that.

I recirc through my plate for 10-15 minutes. Mainly because I want the entire metal surface to be at maximum temp and any less than that cools the wort below the boil point.
When I primed instead of forced I boiled for 10 min. because I had read that some organisms can survive limited exposure to boiling temps but sustained time at those temps were likely to kill unwanted organisms.

For my priming solution I use water that has been treated with UV. I simply put it in a wireless tea kettle and bring it to a boil. I pour it in a pan and add the priming sugar to dissolve.

I've heard that boiling for five minutes is sufficient, never had problems following that rule of thumb but I don't know anything definitive about it.

I simply bring the priming water to a boil and stop there. No problems so far.
IC in the boil 15 minutes or so before flameout.

Pasteurization happens about 162F. No need to boil. I boil 2C of water take it off the heat & add my measured amount of priming sugar. No problems thus far.
