How long is too long

I just brewed a pumpkin ale on the 15th for next fall. I am going out to sea for about 3.5 weeks. I want to make sure im freaking out and it will be fine until mid feb in the primary. Any info would be much appreciated.

I usually leave my brews in the primary for 3-4 weeks. Your not going much past that. It'll be fine.

yeah no problem there.. I as well leave mine in the fermenter for a minimum of 3 weeks unless its a wheat.

Not a problem really... if you won't already do this, it might not be a bad idea to put vodka in your airlock. You'd probably be a-ok anyway, but it is an easy thing to do for a bit of extra relaxation

I've left beers six months in primary, and they've turned out fine. Like other's have said, a month or little more is nothing. Many of us do that on purpose.
