My fridge is at ~38 F. How long do you all think it will take to chill a keg (4.5 - 5 gallons) down to that temp? 12 hours? 24 hours?

I figure many of you have more experience than I do...I wanted to know if I put a keg in the fridge in the morning, would it be chilled all the way to 38 (from ~70F) by the time I get home from work (about 9 hours)?

In my experience it's about two days. I will put it in the fridge one night. The next night after work it's still warmish. Then the second night it's cold. For all I know it could be cold on the second morning, but I've never checked it then.

I am kinda keeping track of how fast it cools.
I put the keg in about 7 PM last night. it must've been about 74F
this morning at 9 AM it is about 58F. I'll check again tonight and post in case anyone is curious.

taking longer than i figured it would. at 9PM last night (26 hours after putting it in the fridge) it was right at 50F.
