How long can it hang

I have some yeast sitting in a empty fermenter with a about a 1/4 " beer covering it. The fermenter has been capped with an air lock since 7/5/13. Can it still be washed?

As long as you have kept conditions sanitary you souls have no issues. It really isn't that different than leaving the beer on it until now and then racking it off and washing it.
