I live in an area with many active springs. A number of years ago I sent for a water analysis from Wards. It was taken from my water well that was approximately 35 feet deep. This spring I drilled another well that is 60 feet deep.

In general, how often if ever should we retest?

And, is a retest necessary if you have redrilled a deeper well in the same location?

You can have different water quality at 60 feet vs. 35 feet. New well needs a new test. From that point it should be good for at least 5-10 years, maybe even much longer than that.

My well guy tells me to test every year...so I do. With three little kids and brewing needed to be done I like to stay up to date.
