My awesome SWMBO procured a bottle of Sam Adams Utopias for me. However since this is a special occasion sipper, how do you store it long term after it's been opened? Just the screw top? Recap? I'm afraid to open it until I know what to do with it after popping the top!

I have mine sitting on my desk, unopened. I imagine when I do open it, will then push some CO2 in to push the o2 out, and then recap.

my mom got mine for me for xmas, coolest gift ever.

Wikipedia:
It should be noted that Utopias can be opened, tasted and re-sealed for up to 10 years. It can be stored for up to 40 years if left unopened. Information provided by Jim Koch (Boston Beer Company).

Pretty much I would drink it in one sitting. ;)

I'd imagine the same way you would store Port. I'm not a big Port drinker, but I'm sure you could find more info about storing it on the web than about Utopias.
