I bult my tss2 controller and was wondering how you guys liek to program them im using in in my fridge that is my ferment chamber and woul like it to sit at 66..

If you want to do it like me, put it in nEU (Neutral Area Mode) in R8.

Set SP1 to your desired temp. Set SP2 to the amount of swing you can build in so the compressor and heating element don't fight each other continuously. So, with mine SP1 is 64 and SP2 is 1.2. The heater turns off at 64 and the compressor turns on at 65.2 until it reaches 64. You can dial SP2 down to however small the thermal mass you have is so heating and cooling aren't handing off all the time.

Claudius does something different and he's the LOVE doctor. Hehe...

Here's some more info on nEU:

EDIT: I guess I should also mention that my thermowell puts the probe in center of the beer, so thermal mass is more of an issue than taped on the side of it, but I likes it how I likes it.

yeah its wierd i programmed it on eith one of the 20 diffrent ways i see on here and want it to stay close to 66 but its dropped to 63 and the heater did not kick on... i have the sp2 set at -1.5 and it wont kick on the heater unless i jack the temp up to past 66... i tested it by pushing the heat up and it kicks the heater on and then putting the temp cold and it will turn the cooling on so i know all that's working right just seems like im missing something...

this is how i set my program up on this guys post

do u mean r3? instead of sp2? i read you other post and you said nothing really about sp2 but ont his post you do little confused about that i set r3 to 1.5 and zeroed sp2.. and set sp1 to desired temp...

You say you have it set to -1.5? Try 1.5. Not even sure what negative values would do.

Otherwise, dunno what to say. The folks at Dwyer were of help to me.
