How is everyone covering the end of their element in their kettle?

I recently installed the camco 5500w uld element in my 15g aluminum kettle. It was a pita because the walls are thick and the screw section of the element just fit with the locknut. I had to silicone the outer piece for a good seal. The installation left me with no space for a box. I've been using it as is with the ground out in the open touching the kettle and the hot wires set in hot glue.

I'd like something safe and sturdy to cover it. I'm hoping someone has a solution and hopefully pictures. Ill put up a picture of mine when I get home.

Thanks!
