Dump my grain into the compost, garden, etc. Spray down the bag (inside out) to remove most remaining grains, rinse in sink, hang to dry. Once dry, any remaining bits shake off easily.

I made my bag from a polyester white curtain. I put it on a short 30'C program in the washing machine, without detergent, then shake it well and leave it in the air for another half an hour. Over a hundred brewing and no damage.

Turn it inside out and hit it with the hose, hang up to dry.

I am reluctant to use soap or any thing that might leave residue. I would much rather there be some residual malt/wort than residual soap, PBW, Oxyclean residue.
