It’s been on the stir plate for about 7 hours. It looks the same as when I first pitched. What should I be seeing? 1.5 liters, OG 1.034, 1 packet WLP001. Pitched at 75 degrees.

Gravity should drop.
Krausen or CO2 should form.
It should become much more creamy colored and cloudy.

Give it time. My WLP-029 starter took over 14 hours before it showed signs of life. I pitched 2-Pure Pitch packets into wort made from 1800 ml water and 1 cup extra light DME.
