So i finally found a 120V 2000W heat stick for my HLT, but how do i connect it to my cooler?

I was planning on coring out the outer layer of plastic, and insulation and just using the liner as the anchor point.

Where do i find a nut/washer/oring large enough to connect to the heat stick?

Stainless Steel 1" Locknut. Fits Electric water heater element thread. FPT Thread will thread either way and has a inset groove that fits the stock water heater element thread gasket. Purchase a food grade silicone o-ring above.

$8.25 each

Bargain Fittings

That being said, I would aslo fill around the element on the back side of the cooler w/ silicone to keep it from moving...the inner liner on a cooler is thin.

that is a good idea. i was going to glue some flashing to the back panel and then respray foam it.
