How do I add Apple Juice?

I want to add Apple Juice. I know how to add it i just dont know how to figure out the SRM, IBU, and OG of the juice. Does any body have this info?

For the OG part, just take a hydrometer reading straight from the bottle (ie neat apple juice). It will vary from brand to brand

I got an OG of 1.050 from Costco cider. When I entered 40lb (~5 gal) I get an OG of 1.221 - what did I do wrong? What should I enter for the weight?

OK I did a little more checking and found out Beer Smith tops out at 1.046 so I went with that. I saved apple juice as a sugar (instead of a grain like I had been) and enter 1 lb for each gallon. The numbers seem to work out better now.

Anybody know what SRM to use for typical apple juice?
