Are you suppose to remove the hot break on top right before the boil? If you dont will it just cause chill haze?
 
No, it will be left behind in the kettle. What doesn't fall out then will combine with the trub. It won't redissolve. Just don't add pellet hops until after the hot break, unless the floor already needs mopping.
 
Some people skim the gunk that comes to the top when you get to a boil. I used to do this but now just don't bother as I found no difference doing vs not.
It don't hurt to skim it off if you wish.
