Does anyone else use this website to formulate recipes? How accurate is it? I've used it for my last few recipes so I'm hoping it comes out good.

So far I have a Black IPA, a Pils and two Pale ales.

I've used it for quite a few recipes. It's good if you know your own process and don't need to figure out the strike temps or water volumes.

i have used it for all my recipes so far. if oftens shows the srm being a little lighter. make sure to adjust your boil and batch size to the right amounts! Its good!

I agree about the SRM, I've noticed that. Make sure you get the final volume and boil size listed. Make sure you know your efficiency and essentially your system. I don't use the water calculations because I did not find them to be very accurate the one time I did use them. Other than that, it's a pretty good free calculator, I've been using it for about 6 months now.

I use hopville all of the time. I also use Beer Alchemy but most of my recipes are on hopville too.
