Hi chaps another quick question for future usage.
I have a big box of dry hops (freebie from a beer festival a few years ago) that have probably lost some flavour. However, I have been reading about hopped up ciders, they sound good! I've never used hops before, and I wondered if the best thing to do, would be boil them in water (or vodka, or apple juice) for a while, and strain this liquid into a future batch of cider after fermentation is finished?
Would this work to give a mild hoppy flavour?
Thanks!
