I am just moving from kits to extract brewing and I was wondering why everyone's favourite hops were ??

For my first brew I am going to go for a 15 minute cascade IPA.

Really highly dependant on what you're looking for mate, read some individual hop descriptions. If you plan to build your own recipe I highly suggest software like beersmith to help you keep your additions civil.

I have done the 15 cascade pale ale. The last time I did it I used Columbus and Simcoe, it is still in the primary.

My last IPA I used magnum, citra, and Amarillo. It turned out fantastic.

Does that help at all? Possibilities are endless.

I don't think you can go wrong with using Cascade. It's for sure one of my favorite hops.
