So it seems to be a virus going after my cascade and goldings...any thoughts?
This is the first year for these and they produced zero flowers. I wasn’t very caring to these plants this summer. I did little, if any fertilizing and watered very sparingly as I always seem to overwater, overfeed my plants.
Do I need to completely start over with new virus free rhizomes and trash the soil?
Thanks for the help, any tips are welcome
Sam

Better-trained people lurking around here will be able to give you a more definitive answer, but probably nutrients or pests, not viruses.

Also not a viral expert... but that doesn't look like mosaic or other viral issues I have come across. Do you have other indications?

On the few pics, I would look into downy mildew.

Yeah, there definitely seems to be some sort of fungal infection, those white areas are a recent development, figured it was due to weakened plants.
I’ll let them ride out the fall and start a antifungal regiment along with adding some nutes and cover crop for the winter.. if it rears it ugly head in the spring I’ll go from there.
Thanks for the comments
