Hops and freezing

My friend, who I started brewing with, has stumbled upon a motherlode of hops that someone is growing next to his buddy's house. The owner said to take as much as you want. Are hops ok to freeze or is that a no no?

Yep, freezer is the best place for them, preferably vacuum sealed too. I use one of those foodsavers for mine.

Sweet. Thanks for the link. Might be getting some local hops soon and I was trying to figure out how to seal them. This looks like a good option if you don't have a vacuum sealer.
