I was recently given some fresh Chinook and Glacier hops. Any advice on how to use them? I was thinking of doing an ale and using the glacier hops for bittering and using the chinooks later in the boil for sweetening/aroma... Any tips are appreciated.

I would use them for late boil or aroma only. You have no idea what the actual alpha acid content is so you have no way of knowing the IBU contribution.

Agreed, since you do not know the AA, stick to flavor or aroma.

I would make two different beers with them as they have very different flavor profiles. I would make a basic a pale ale and add the hops at the 15 and 10 minute marks.

Good luck and Semper Fi ( 89 - 96)
