Last spring I made a late addition cream ale that got a lot of compliments from both hop heads and BMC drinkers.
As soon as the temp jumps up from 0, I am looking to make again but expand upon the recipe.
The tweaked grain bill with original hop addition is as follows:
6# 2 row
3# flaked corn
1# flaked barley
.5 carapils (new addition for retention)

1 oz cacade (15 min)
1 oz centennial (5 min)
1 oz citra (whirlpool 170F, 30 min)

this was a light, crisp beer with subtle citrus aroma.
However I felt I could improve upon the late addition. I have toyed with with adding more hops at flame out and doubling the whirlpool.
I have also started to research and consider a different hop additions.
Below are hop additions I have found from other brewers (Founders & Mad Fermentionanist) who made a late addition cream ale. I have changed the amount of hops and the time, but kept the hop.

Founder Inspired:
.5 mosaic (15)
1 mosaic (5)
.5 chinook (whirlpool 170F, 30 min)
.5 simcoe (whirlpool 170F, 30 min)
.5 simcoe (dry hop 7 days)
.5 chinook (dry hop 7 days)

While I love mosaic, not sure if the pineyness of the other 2 hops will work as aroma in a cream ale.

Mad Fermentiontionist inspired:
1 oz Cascade (15)
1 oz Crystal (10)
2 Oz Summit (flameout)
1 oz cascade (whirlpool 170F, 30 min)
1 oz Crystal (whirlpool 170F, 30 min)
1 oz Crystal ( dry hop 7 days)
1 oz Summit (Dry Hop 7 days)

Having never worked with either Crystal or summit, I am weary or gun shy of venturing away from my normal hops (Citra-Cascade-Centenial).
However I have always tried to use each brew as a chance to try something slightly different than before. Therefore I have never made the same brew twice.

Last Idea:
original hop schedule, but add in Mosaic to flame out, whirlpool or dry hop (or all 3)

I have never mixed Mosaic with C-C-C hops?

Any advice would be welcome on this current conundrum!

I have no idea what you're trying to make with that kind of hop schedule. :)

A cream ale is very lightly hopped. It's OK to do your own thing, but it's kind of becoming something other than a cream ale.

I am trying to make a cream ale for the BMc drinkers, yet load it up with late hops to appeal to the craft drinkers.
As previously indicated in the OP my first recipe won over both!

But as referenced in the OP.
Light crispness of a cream ale, with loads of hop aroma!

I would personally stick to your original hop schedule, then flame out with much more Centennial to see how you like the hop impact.

I would say Galaxy, but that’s the hop I used for my Cream Ale on tap.

My hop schedule for my creamish ales are 7g CTZ @ 60 min, 1 oz whirlpool (u pick), and 2 oz DH (u pick).

My favorite hop that I used was Nelson.

Never brewed with Galaxy or Nelson, but like the idea of using it for whirlpool or dry hop.

How does it pair with centennial & citra?

Galaxy and Citra are a great combo.

Never have mixed either with Centennial. I get a floral vibe from Cent, which I like to pair with cascade.

Would you recommend all the hop additions be galaxy & citra?
If so what schedule do you/would you follow?

The Cream Ale recipe I use is a SMaSH. All Pilsner and Cane Sugar. As far as hops The recipe calls for Crystal which is a triploid of Hallertau, Cascade, and Brewers Gold. An once at 60 and an once at 10 for ~ 20 IBU(s).
