Just made a hop stoopid clone. Just cracked first one. A little too bitter. Any reason why? I did ferm at around 76-78 degrees. Couldnt get temp down. Do u think it will mellow out after some time bottle conditioning? Bottled three weeks ago. Any help !

Did I read correctly? "Hop Stoopid" clone too bitter? I had a 22 of HS a few months ago and it was way, way bitter. Too bitter to enjoy, as if the goal of the brewery is to get the IBU's way up for no other reason than to get the IBU's up... (my opinion. you likey, that's goodey)

Some folks like double, triple and giga-quintruple IIIIIIPA's so maybe you're onto something!

It has a bitter after taste. Yes tons of hops. Do u think the high temps can lead to a more bitter taste?
