I have only brewed 4 batches and am having questions to all the different terminologies!

When it says "0 min" as far as the addition is concerned, that is the time when I being the wort down to fermenting temps with my plate chiller?

That seems like a waste of hops!

I feel like I'm missing something!
Thanks,
Al

Fairly new new myself but to my understanding 0 min=flameout. So still boiling but add right as you're shutting off heat and beginning the cooling process.

Depending on the hops it could be a waste. If you're going for strictly bittering then it would be of very little help. If you're going for the flavor and aroma of the hop this is the best time to add so that they don't get boiled out.
