Brewed it 2 times, both with outstanding results. Although it lacked flavor hops, but had pleanty of citrus aroma...Recipe is as follows, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully to enter the revised version into an upcoming comp. in feb.. Looking for advice in the hop schedule more less...Thanks in advance.

3 gallon batch

6.25 lbs pale 2 row us
.80 lbs crystal 60L
.25 lbs Munich
.5 lbs Rye malt

.50 oz Amarillo @ 60
.50 oz Centennial @ 30
.50 oz Cascade @15
.50 oz Cascade @ 5
.75 oz Centennial @ 0

.75 oz Citra dry hop for 7-10 days in secondary.

57.7 IBU's
11.3 SRM

152 degree mash temp for 60 min...60 min boil

What was your OG?

Est was 1.065, I got 1.054 the first time and 1.048 the second...I hope I resolved the problem cause im pretty sure what the culpret (sp) was, A Very small manifold, I bought a false bottom for the ole 5 gallon cooler and hopefully that works better..

Although it lacked flavor hops

Have you tried first wort hopping. I think Gordon Strong reccomends replacing the 15 minute addition with first wort hopping for better hop flavor. Be careful with the brewing software, though, because the bitterness doesn't tend to be as perceivable with first wort hopping as with hops in the boil.

Also, you mention that a small manifold may have been to blame for your low efficiency. I've never heard anybody mention that as a possible cause. Where did you get that informaton?

Move the centennial hops from 30 minutes to 15 minutes, for sure!

What I'd probably do is also move the amarillo to a flavor addition, and use a better bittering hop for bittering- maybe magnum or galena, but you could use columbus if you didn't have either of those. Increase the flavor and aroma additions. Something like this:

.75 magnum at 60 (or whatever it takes to get you to 40-45 IBUs or so with THIS addition)
1 oz Centennial @ 15
1 oz Cascade @5
1 oz Amarillo @ 0
Dryhop with .5 ounce of centennial and .5 oz amarillo (I dislike citra, plus 3 different types of flavor/aroma hops is plenty!)

Looks like .15 oz of magnum @ 60 gives me 44 leaving everything else listed at an oz for a 3 gallon batch. Sound right? im thinking maybe drop the rest to .75 and up the Magnum a tad...I thank you kindly for the advice, much appreciated.

If you don't want the hops "aggressive" in flavor/aroma, you could drop them to .75 ounces in the late additions and dryhop as well.

So I ended up doing this schedule cause i had a few open packages and wanted to use them up...Have about 40 bags of hops in the fridge so needed to use the opens, I think it will come out pretty nice:)

.50 Columbus @ 60
.50 Amarillo @ 15
.50 Amarillo @ 5
.65 Amarillo @ 0

54.8 IBUs

Then will do a .45oz of centenial and .45 oz of amarillo for dry hop.

3 gallon batch
