I have a plan for a recipe that would appeal to a wider range of people than my current offerings. Would this make for a nice crisp, "citrusy" brew? I've never used Citra hops before but have read up on them a little.
For 5 gallon fermenter volume:
15 lbs Great Western California 2 Row
6.5 oz Honey Malt
4 oz Carapils
0.4 oz Magnum for 60 min
0.5 oz Citra for 15 min then again at 5 min
US 05 or another clean yeast (I wash and repitch dry yeast, blasphemy I know)
Any suggestions are welcome! Also, not making an IPA here so no making fun of the small hop additions.
