So, anyone have any experience making hop extract?
Im currently experiencing on making a hop liqueur, and was considering ways to get a bit more aroma than im getting from just "hot water"

Look up RSO and apply it here:

1 oz of Cryo hops, or lupulin powder, or extract lupulin from 1 oz whole cones via dry ice
750 ml Everclear

This should produce an isomerized tincture (use less Everclear or more hops to concentrate the tincture to suit your needs):
1. place the hops in an oven or vacuum sealed bag to isomerize the hops in a sous vide (aka a HERMS, RIMS, crock pot, etc that can maintain heat) Temps/time debatable: use the temp/time you settle on thru your research
2. add the isomerized hops to a vessel and add the Everclear.
Optional: Put it on your stir plate and stir it to allow the alcohol extraction to take place. Time debatable: use the time you settle on thru your research
3. place a coffee filter in a funnel over a mason jar to separate the solids from liquid
Optional: place the green liquid in the mason jar in a sunny place to eliminate chlorophyll

To get oil from tincture
5. either let the tincture sit out in a shallow vessel until the alcohol evaporates or place it in an Air Still to recycle the alcohol to use use again and again
6. if using an Air Still distill the Everclear off the hop oil
7. either way use a syringe to draw up the oil once the alcohol is removed
