I had a hunch there was a dedicated thread to this sort of question.

Thanks for the list guys!

I have been using http://brooklynbrewshop.com/
they are very good, I emailed them with a question about my first brew and how I had to top up the fermenter because i didn't have enough wort, they emailed me back with a $10 coupon to try again.

I will give a shout out to my LHBS who also has a website

www.love2brew.com

They're as reasonably priced as anyone like Northern Brewer. I can't compare them to many others, but their kits are awesome and have very detailed instructions if you're new or just want a reminder. And of course the most important thing for me is the guys who own the place are awesome. Every time I've been there they've been more than welcoming, and they're incredibly fast at responding to emails.

I have not read the entire thread (it's floccin' long!), but I doubt they were listed. my favorite LHBS is Pour Brothers in Gillette, WY. Nate & AJ are great guys & willing to help any way they can. I miss that shop very much.

Great price and selection of supplies, equipment, books and more for every brewer from newbies to advanced.

Just a happy customer and I am in no way affiliated with the company.

Our closest shop to Mason City is Collective Spirits in Albert Lee MN right across from WalMart.

I was just in there today today to pick up a few things. They are giving away a bunch of old Wyeast dated Aug 2013. I've have uses some up to a year old. Just pitch to a good starter.

I too am impressed with morebeer. I'd love to have a local brew shop to visit but in my overseas location, I don't have that luxury. I have ordered from morebeer and they have always been able to ship to me in a quick manner. I had one issue with a leaking weld on a stainless kettle and they fixed that immediately, shipping out a replacement. Their associates have always been a pleasure to deal which is a big part of a good business. For us out of the way customers, mail order is sometimes our only choice. I'm glad that morebeer continues to offer shipping to us military in whatever location we may be in.
