Been living in State College for 3 years now and have yet to see any advertised brew classes. Surprised a bit by this. Does anyone know of anything that occurs occasionally in the vicinity? Any info would be great.

I've been living here since May 2013, and through all of my searching online and on forums, there does not seem to be anything like that in the area. The closest shop that I've even been able to find information on is in Altoona, and even then, the hours are spares.
Otto's is known for being homebrew friendly, and will give out spent yeast and parts of hop shipments (so I hear!)
There are a bunch of homebrewers that I've seen post occasionally on here. There's a few clubs listed, but their forums and groups are rarely updated from what I can tell.
A few of us get together for brew days every month or so, if you're interested, feel free to send me a message.
