Anyone entering or judging/stewarding in this comp? This will be my first time entering this comp and I've got two entries going in. A SHV beer (pecan pie ale) and an American Amber (formerly known as Kiwi Red Ale). I also signed up to judge as a novice, but haven't heard anything about whether I actually will be. Mostly just seeing who else might be there. Would be cool to meet some fellow HBTers.

I will be sending mine in next week. I'm sending in a Dunkelweizen and an IPA. I don't think there are any drop off locations in CT.

It appears there is one in CT, but it's about an hour and a half to two hour drive so bless that! I mailed mine to the address on the website and called it good. Good luck with your entries. I really hope I get to judge the IPA category. It's my favorite style so it's the one I feel most comfortable judging. Enough though I know judging is supposed to be done objectively and according to the style guidelines, I just find it really hard to judge a style I don't like.

I'm entering a couple of beers - a RIS and a Pilsner. I also signed up as a steward.

I've got several entered, I think 8 categories total. So it could either go really well or I could just be multiplying my shame. This is probably the first year that I've had beers I thought were competition level, as opposed to just what I had carbed up and ready to go. If nothing else it's a great excuse to go to Alewife, just got named best beer bar in NYC by RateBeer.
