Home brewed milk stout....

So down here at the parent's house this evening, and my brother-in-law and sister were over as well. My brother-in-law brought some home brewed milk stout he had gotten from an acquaintance at work. It wasn't quite what I'd expected. I was expecting more of an roasty taste, but there wasn't. It was actually very enjoyable. I wasn't overwhelmed by the roastiness of it. I may try another in the future.

Sweet stouts usually don't seem as roasty as other stouts since the sweetness offsets it quite a bit. Glad you enjoyed your first one!
