every beer at the hofbrauhaus is great. if you get there, try them all, but the dunkel is a favorite of mine. easy to see why the dunkel has been a favorite of munich for centuries!

I know that this is a bit of a necro thread, but I just recently had a Haufbrau Dunkel and concur with Mr. Chainsawbrewing in that this was the single best Dunkel that I have ever had. I'd really like to be able to brew something very close to this if possible.
