That gizmo makes less sense than the ho made funnel. I didn't think it was possible :mug:

a.gif.....wait a minute!!!!!

My funnel is very handy....it clamps to the top of my keg

stops splash's when i dump in some yum yum.

have you priced the cost of a 1 gallon ss funnel??????

the copper was free, scrap,

the top to the mason jar....ok,,,well... yeah,,maybe..

your right OK!!! just had to make me say it!!!

your right, 107172015.GIF your right....

I just wonder if that's solder or tire balance weights.

You can not use lead in ANY part of brewing, OR Brass,[inless pickeled]
the only thing you can use is SS, Copper, food grade plastic for fermenting
I really do not think it advisable to use glass for anything but fermenting
some do.

1983, lead was outlawed for potable water systems, we were given 6 mths to use up our stock. before the hammer came down.
I have not used lead in solder since then, it would jeopardize my license

needed a large funnel, no funds to buy one, but i had a bunch o scrap 1/2'' copper pipe.

made entirely out of 1/2'' pipe

this is my "Ugly, Dr Seuss funnel"

So... No funds, but scrap copper is sitting at $2.40/lb

correct quote is, No funds to buy one,
why buy when you have the skills to make?
I am a tinker'er I make stuff from stuff.

here is a treadmill that was tossed...it is tumbling my brass now

$300.00 tumbler, for 8 hours of my time. makes since to me

instead of paying $30.00 for a new voltage regulator on my lawn mower
I tore the old one apart and fixed it.
i call it a hobby, also call it fun
