No onsite pours (draft or bottle). Only growler fills and cans to drink. What's this now?
Hello everyone!
Today I write to you with some news. This is my last week as an employee of Hill Farmstead Brewery. As some of you may know, I began visiting the brewery back in early 2011 as a customer. It has long since been a dream of mine to work at Hill Farmstead Brewery and set up a life in Vermont. I am extremely fortunate to have been able to spend the last three years working in Greensboro with such an amazing staff, and being able to be fully immersed in the craft beer world at a location that is dear to my heart.
Life happens, and things pop up. Thus, I have chosen to step away to have more time with my family. This specific part might sound like sad news, but it is certainly not!
I simply wanted to put this out there for all of you to know since I have been the first means of contact for many of you. Thanks for all the fun times, and perhaps I will see some of you soon on the other side of the barIt has been a privilege to serve you all.
Cheers,
Kevin

sounds awful, i'll take the rest off your handsAnyone else not a fan of the recent What is Enlightenment cans? Doesn't smell great, but the flavor is really off for me. Super thin malt backbone and a lingering astringency.

Summing up the HF Trade scenarios on FB
ISO: Rare Hill
FT: A slew of Bottle Logic beers and I have more
What's the deal with Bottle Logic? Has interest dwindled?
-More production so everything is easier to get, plus lots of people get guaranteed bottles through their club.
-Some (1-2? I don't exactly recall how many) infection problems so people are likely more skittish about new beers and/or worried about aging them.
-They struck gold with Fundamental Observation b1 (legitimately one of the best BA stouts I've had) and haven't managed to hit that level since (although Fundamental Summation was very good).
To some degree, the same thing has happened with Cycle in Florida and a few other breweries.
Magic Florence is magic. Pretty sure this is the only bottle from this batch that I bought.
it’s drinking beautifully.
