Just leaving this here...this is awesome. Less smoky than I recall b1 being, but that may just be due to the fact that this is young...

Barrels both fire - perhaps a bit more bourbon than wine, and the smoke comes out more and more as it warms. Perfectly integrated.

Need moar.

Dipped into some 2015's this weekend...
12/15 Edith...There was really nothing wrong with it. Nice tartness, wasn't fading. I think I've just been chasing the Edith experience I had at the snowstorm Anniversary party. That keg was perfect Edith...Anyway, it drank okay and I'm okay that I only grabbed a couple from the most recent release.

7/15 Nordic...This is the muther folkin beer I dreamed to share with anyone. Oh man. Just fantastic, really. Perfect amount of tart, mouth feels, everything. Drinks tremendously. Upset I only grabbed a sixer the last time I was up.

Nordic with some age is fantastic. I bought 2 bottles last month just to drink next summer.

5 i believe. 6/2014, 11/2014, 2015, 2016, 2017

Had my last bottle of the 11/2014 batch of Nordic recently if that matters to anyone. Was quite delicious.

Carb was in check, not a gusher as I anticipated. Sweet honey balanced well with the tartness. I frickin love this beer.

All this said, I’ve found newer batches of Nordic to be slightly different, not in a bad way either. I didn’t even know rhubarb was an ingredient until the 2015 batch.

I've been telling haze bros around here this is the best IPA ever made for at least two years. Now that it's in cans they finally agree.

It's not.

Society & Solitude 6 is better.

But it's almost amazing how much better HF hoppy beers are than basically everything else out there, yet the newmoney hazebros seemingly don't care and instead flip their **** over Monkish and whatever new has fruit and lactose in it.

I think S&S 9 might take the cake for me, I'd really love to see that one on the heavier rotation that 3-6 seem to be.

When I was there this week I saw at least one stack of unfilled 16oz cans, I wonder if there's still some experimentation to come as to whether 4x16 makes sense for some of their beers.

Would't be a surprise, They sold 16 oz and 12 oz when they first started doing cans. At FoFA I think they sold one style in each format.
