Fighting the good fight against that awful use of the English language

There are far greater atrocities in the English language. I, personally, find the use of the word suitable for the situation, given how concise it makes an otherwise lengthy and potentially wordy question.

When someone asks, "How is (insert name of beer) drinking?", they are really asking two questions: 1) How is the beer holding up in comparison to when it was initially released? 2) How would you rate the current beer experience?

In your previous statements, you equated the term "drinking" to "tasting", which only partially describes the overall experience. It neglects to address other contributing factors, such as the appearance of the beer, the aroma, and the mouthfeel.

I'm in this camp as well. "Drinking" connotes a few things over and above "tasting" in this context.

So, all of this can be condensed down to, "X beer is drinking _______ly." But my conversion to tasting is not compatible/complete?

Actually, nevermind. I just think it sounds terrible. The beer still isn't drinking anything.

Of course that's being released Wednesday, because I was there today.

Very happy to say I (finally!!) got CD 10 and 11. 11 > 10 but both were just lovely. Those plus no line for bottles/some oysters/randomly running into friends = day made

Thanks AutumnBeerLove for my growlers! Hooray, we've "officially" met haha

I'll play

11 > 17 > 15 > 10 > 16 > 6 > 14 > 12 > 8 > 9 > 1 > 4 > 2. Missing 3, 5, and 13.

11 > 17 > 15 > 10 > 14 > 16 > 6 > 13 > 12 > 8 > 9 > 1 > 4 > 2 - Got to try 13 last week. I also had another bottle of CD14 that was much better than I remembered, so it got bumped up. 13 was great, but I did not think it was mind blowing.

duceswild, oline73, someone else not on TB, and I shared 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, juicy, 1/28/16 leaves of grass, genealogy akmel nuri, DBD, and art plum over two days. Did the DBD and genealogy twice because they were so good.

Had such a great time. We just got lucky because we planned this trip several months ago.

Thanks to duces for being my chauffeur all weekend.
