Made my first visit in June. I haven't had the breadth of offerings as anyone else that posts here regularly, but I'll also mention that WOL: Anchorage was up there with the best of what I've had from them. I also give credit for Six Years as I can't say I've had anything quite like it. The complexity alone makes it memorable. Got a WOL: Anchorage in the fridge for NYE to split with my wife to commemorate our 10th anniversary trip from June.

Madness & Civ 5 is easily my favorite dark beer that I've ever tried from Hill. Also add me to the list showing WoL: Anchorage some love.

Yes, this and Clover stand out. clover exceeded even my highest expectations.

so has anyone in the thread opened the newest release of phenomenology yet? i really dug the last version but i'm curious what this new one is like considering there's not mention of spontaneous fermentation. haven't seen any chatter yet

Iz good. One of my favorite things about the last release was that if you closed your eyes while drinking, you would think that it was a bright, light and tart saison - not anything close to dark. Same applies here. This one has a bit more Edith undertones that previous. Can't wait to crush again.

My top-3 from this yr, in order: Damon, WoL Anchorage, and Vera. (Had planned to crack open my Clover on Xmas, but a god damned sinus infection effed those plans... maybe for New Yr's!)

Edit: Almost forgot an honorable mention for Farmer Wave. Str8 summer crusher right there.

I'll go with BA Dorothy, the new Beyond Good & Evil, and Madness and Reason #2 - I really enjoyed that one, but it was on tap only.

Jesus. Excursions 5 anyone? Forgot how good this was. Nice orange and pineapple with a subtle bitter hop bite at the end. A balanced IPA? Yes please.

Made my nightcap decision for me. Just drank the September 2016 Leaves of Grass with dinner. Absolutely delicious. As advertised, tastes like Convivial laced with sour patch kids. Have missed several of the series, but this is easily favorite Leaves of Grass yet.

- Happenstance beer similar to Mimosa. Something geared towards oranges, wine BA, and galaxy dry hopped
- Another mango beer. It appears CD15 used regular mangoes. I'm a huge fan of The Ataúlfo mango, also called a Champagne mango. They are yellow in color and I love the tart taste they represent.
- Apple Brandy Damon
- Pomegrante beer. I realize this would be difficult to age a beer on pomegrante seeds. So prehaps a wine BA farmstead ale blended with a small amount of pomegrante juice ? I bet the color would be stunning.
- I might be the minority, but I enjoy Sam Adams Utopias. I wouldn't mind seeing a HF version of that. I beleive it would be a base beer aged in different types of barrels then blended together. Just a thought.

I realize these aren't likely in 2017, but never hurts to throw ideas out there for the future
